Today, we announce our acquisition of RangeForce, uniting two leading cyber range platforms for hyper-realistic attack simulation, SOC team assessment and capability-building, and solo upskilling experiences.
We are coming together to create a US-based organization with significant global scale, aimed at delivering what we believe to be one of the most advanced AI-powered operational cyber readiness platforms to busier and more budget-conscious SOC teams than ever before.
Yes, tools matter, but we are convinced that the most valuable, most impactful security asset is your team. They are the ones who make all the difference.
Together, we invest in your defenders, the real security teams out in the field.
For our customers and partners, we have prepared a quick FAQ here.
Both recognized by Forrester, we aim to jointly set a new standard for cyber readiness and resilience in a market demanding more than siloed technical skills labs.
This means putting attack simulations with real tools, threats, environments, and TTPs in the hands of more organizations, allowing them to take SOC team readiness to a whole new level.
With RangeForce’s cycles of solo and team exercising, skills gap analysis, and foundational blue and red team content, customers will be able to build defensive capabilities with structure and confidence.
Cyberbit then takes readiness further, enabling SOC teams and advanced operators to investigate incidents with real commercial tools, in environments that mirror their daily work.
Our combined platforms will equip defenders with hands-on access to more than 25 enterprise-grade security technologies, spanning leading EDR, SIEM, DFIR, and firewall solutions — delivering the most realistic and comprehensive cyber range experience available.
Because theories and screenshots don’t build defenders — real-world experience does.
“Cyberbit’s acquisition of RangeForce represents a significant leap forward in how organizations prepare their teams for the realities of today’s cyber threat landscape,” said Darren Battistoni, Managing Director and Co-Head of Technology Opportunities at Charlesbank Capital Partners, Cyberbit’s financial sponsor. “By uniting two of the industry’s leading cyber range platforms, we believe customers will now have access to an unprecedented breadth of content and highly realistic readiness experiences built around the same tools and environments they rely on every day.”
We understand that it’s hard for overstretched defenders to develop the disparate, shifting array of skills and experience their jobs require. That’s why AI is at the core of this union.
Using generative AI, the RangeForce Content Studio allows team leaders to build custom skill environments mapped to their specific risks. In addition, the AI Tutor acts as a mentor, guiding learners through frustrating patches to ensure they get the assistance they need to remain engaged.
The result is a living, evolving library that moves at the speed of the threats and keeps teams a step ahead.
“Cyberbit and RangeForce bring together two organizations deeply passionate about cybersecurity defender readiness,” said David Etue, my counterpart, CEO at RangeForce. “The combined company’s capabilities, paired with our recent advances in AI, position us to deliver experiences that ensure SOC and IR teams are prepared for the sophisticated cyber-attacks organizations face today.”
Boards are demanding proof of resilience. Adversaries are relentless. Teams must be battle-ready.
With our new combined capabilities, Cyberbit and RangeForce deliver an end-to-end solution that we believe is unlike anything on the market:
This is the solution for CISOs who want clarity and confidence in their teams’ capabilities, not assumptions, and for the CISOs who refuse to discover weaknesses mid-attack, or only after the damage is done.
“Cyberbit and RangeForce joining forces marks a major milestone in cybersecurity readiness. As a partner to both companies, Carahsoft is thrilled to see this powerful combination come together with their vision to deliver this comprehensive, AI-powered readiness platform for SOC and IR teams,” said Alex Whitworth, Cybersecurity Solutions Vertical Executive at Carahsoft Technology Corp. “This collaboration enhances Carahsoft’s ability to provide innovative, integrated solutions, enabling the Public Sector and enterprises across the U.S. to strengthen their defenses against today’s most persistent and sophisticated adversaries.”

For us, this is more than just acquisition news. This joining of forces is a launchpad that provides greater scale, coverage, and value to you, our customers.
Together, Cyberbit and RangeForce are seeking to set a new benchmark for resilience in the face of relentless threats, delivering an unmatched level of operational cyber readiness for all our customers.
To all the established SOCs refining threat hunting, and to the developing SOC teams building foundational Incident Response skills — whether operating in-house, outsourced, or hybrid: we meet you where you are. The combined offering gives every security team, regardless of structure or maturity, the ability to measure, strengthen, and prove their readiness in real-world conditions.
Headquartered in the US, with dedicated teams and strategic data centers across both the US and Europe, we are strengthening our global footprint to better serve the government and highly regulated sectors. This expansion supports compliance-ready simulations aligned with key frameworks such as FedRAMP, NIST, and MITRE ATT&CK and D3FEND, while delivering proven resilience under the most realistic conditions. By bringing our capabilities closer to our customers, we enable organizations to train with confidence, meet stringent regulatory requirements, and elevate their readiness against today’s most sophisticated threats.
TL;DR: You gain more defensive experiences, greater realism, and more ways to measure and strengthen your cyber readiness than ever before.
